Spring – April is Child Abuse Prevention Awareness month.  The Humboldt County Board of Supervisors adopt a proclamation, individuals and agencies working in the field of child abuse prevention are honored at an awards luncheon, a daylong conference focusing on best practices is convened and the Children’s Memorial Flag Raising Ceremony is held.
